Headliner & Pillars

When replacing the headliner in an old mustang, most choose to put in an original looking vinyl head liner. From what I read, these are a pain in the ass to fit because you need to do it with the front and rear windscreen out in order to get a finished look. In addition this original meathod uses the standard steel bars in the roof to give it its shape taking up value space if you are wanting to install a roll bar/cage.

I looked around and found that TMI Products in America supply a headliner that is actually a moulded fibreglass panel with suede finish. It comes with matching front and rear pillar covers and can be installed without removing the windscreens.

The other benefit is that you increase headroom as teh fibreglass shell of the headliner enables you to remove the old steel bows. This was perfect for me as I will be running a removable 4 point rollcage. The large box pictured  below is the actual parcel arriving, its pretty big!
